We announced our Digital release with a top-secret tomorrow asset, followed by a trendy watch-at-home CTA from our friends Smurfette, No Name Smurf, and Papa Smurf! Our blue besties also filmed a heartfelt handshake, a popstar meme, a mini photoshoot, the POV of working with Smurfs, and a really fungi joke
Of course, we had to include Mama Poot in our campaign, with our Which Poot are you? graphic, and a behind-the-scenes look at Natasha Lyonne as our fiery character. Our stellar cast was also highlighted in BTS assets showcasing Rihanna bringing Smurfette to life, the magic of making the world of Smurfs, and Xolo Maridueña as Brainy Smurf. We also made a Smurfin’ great use of our junket, with fun CTAs and Q&As from Nick Offerman and John Goodman.
Partnerships
Along with our organic and social content, we partnered with Trejo’s Donuts on limited-edition Smurf-themed donuts, and Beard Papa on Smurfy Puffs!
Mailers
20 influencers received a mailer that included plush versions of Papa Smurf, No Name Smurf and Smurfette, posters / coloring pages, mini microphones and SMURFS merchandise like friendship bracelets, T-shirts, sunglasses, hats and a digital code, for a total reach of 925.8k.
